June 3, 2013鈥挤耻谤颈苍驳 Commencement Weekend 2013, Georgetown 海角论坛 celebrated with the families and friends of over 900 graduates.

Actress and alumna Brit Marling (C鈥�05) returned to campus to join students at Senior Convocation. Lisa Shannon, founder of Run for Congo Women and author of A Thousand Sisters, gave the keynote address at the commencement ceremony. She received an honorary doctorate for her efforts to raise awareness and support for Congolese women.
