The initiative recently awarded a grant to Associate Professor of Family Medicine for a pilot program, entitled 鈥淐reating Locally, Connecting Globally,鈥 that uses art to explain the threats to human health posed by global climate change.

In addition to writing a paper on their findings, three teams of students from the 海角论坛, the School of Nursing & Health Studies, the School of Foreign Service, and the Medical School worked together to create sculptures illustrating their data.
